Join Us for one of Butte's Coolest Events of the Year!
Celebration Saturday starts
with Breakfast with Santa at 10;30 am, a treat for kids that goes way beyond
cookies and milk. Treat your kids to a visit with their favorite
elfmeister. The event will be held at the Metals Sports Grill & Bar at 8 W. Park Street. The cost for
the breakfast is $7.50 per person.
 Entertainment will be provided by
Santa, of course, who will be bringing along early gifts for
all the nice children and a few lumps of coal in case he encounters
any naughty ones.
Ice Sculpting Contest—Let the Chips Fall Where They May!
  Then,
from 9 am to 3 pm, look for ice carvers all over the Hill
as ice sculpting teams chip away at ice blocks (each weighs 340
pounds) in front of Uptown businesses. Then judges will cast
a cold eye on the sculptures and rank them in adult and child
categories for prizes and bragging rights.
Shoppers can watch the progress throughout the day as the carvers
uncover nearly 50 beautiful sculptures from within frozen blocks of ice.
Look for ice sculpting teams competing for prizes in a variety
of categories at more than 30 businesses on the Hill.
